I didn’t start this blog because I wanted to become a blogger.

I started it because I wanted to build a better future.

Over the past few years, I’ve tried different online businesses. Some worked. Many didn’t.

With every success and every failure, I learned the same lesson.

I wasn’t just looking for another way to make money.

I was looking for something I could build—something that would continue to grow over time.

That’s what led me to blogging.

Not as a hobby, but as a long-term digital asset.

The First Day

Starting a blog sounded easy.

Buy a domain.

Choose a hosting provider.

Install WordPress.

Publish the first post.

Reality was different.

I created a new Google account, purchased a domain through Namecheap, signed up for Hostinger, and began connecting everything together.

I had never changed DNS settings before.

I got stuck.

I made mistakes.

More than once, I questioned whether I was doing the right thing.

But every problem had a solution.

One step at a time, everything came together.

When my website finally went live, it wasn’t just another website.

It was the beginning of something I had wanted to build for a long time.

Working with AI

AI was with me throughout the entire process.

Not to do the work for me, but to help me think more clearly, solve problems faster, and organize my ideas.

The decisions were still mine.

The experiences were still mine.

AI simply helped me move forward.

That’s how I believe AI should be used.

Why I’m Writing in English

I’m Korean.

Writing in English doesn’t always feel natural.

Sometimes I wonder if my words are good enough.

But I decided to publish in English anyway.

Not because it’s easier.

Because I want to share what I learn with people beyond my own country.

Every article will begin with a real experience.

Then I’ll turn that experience into something practical—something another person can learn from.

This Is Just the Beginning

Economic Freedom Lab isn’t a success story.

Not yet.

It’s a record of building something meaningful from the ground up.

Some experiments will succeed.

Others will fail.

Both deserve to be documented.

Because progress doesn’t come from pretending to know everything.

It comes from learning, improving, and continuing even when the outcome is uncertain.

I don’t know exactly where this journey will lead.

But I know it’s worth documenting.

Maybe one day, someone who feels as uncertain as I do today will find this blog and realize they aren’t starting alone.
